New Zealand First leader Winston Peters is asking why the Maori Party supports the inclusion of the Red Peak flag in the flag referendum but won't give all New Zealanders a say on the Tino Rangatiratanga flag.
New Zealand First was the only party to vote against adding a fifth option to November's referendum.
"What happened to the Maori Party and the Tino Rangatiratanga flag, because if you can have Red Peak why couldn’t you have that? What was Marama Fox doing on TV with the Red Peak flag and not the other flag? She’s asleep mate, that’s what’s happening here," Mr Peters says.
