Taranaki expertise brought to Auckland assets
Hinerangi Raumati, who chairs Taranaki's giant Parininihi ki Waitotara Incorporation, has been appointed to the board of Auckland Council Investments Limited.
Ms Raumati, who has Ngati Mutunga and Waikato whakapapa, is a former chief financial officer at Tainui Group Holdings and also serves on Te Ohu Kaimoana and Aotearoa Fisheries.
Auckland Council Investments manages the council's major equity investments including Ports of Auckland, Auckland Film Studios and its 22 percent stake in Auckland International Airport.
The other new directors includes professional director and Earthquake Commission deputy chair Keith Taylor and former Meridian Energy group treasurer Linda Robertson, who is also a director of Dunedin City Holdings and King Country Energy.
