Watermark Rangitane and Moemoea pick teams for Te Matatini
Role Funding:

They’re two of the smallest competitions in the kapa haka regional calendar, but the passion to get to Te Matatini was still evident at the weekend in Palmerston North and Canberra.

Te Tu Mataora won the Rangitane competion and will represent the region in Te Whanganui a Tara next year, along with runner up Te Tini o Rehua.

Across the Tasman, the competition to represent Te Iwi Moemoea was won convincingly by Perth-based Manawa Mai Tawhiti, with Te Hoe ki Matangireia from Sydney taking the second spot.
