Goals to achieve before parliamentary run for OSullivan
Kaitaia doctor Lance O'Sullivan hopes his statement of intent to stand for the Maori Party in 2020 will boost the party's chances this election.
Dr O'Sullivan says for him health and politics are equally important and intricately linked.
He's got a couple of goals to achieve before vote-hunting.
"One is institutionalising digital health in New Zealand and the resurgence of my alma mater, my kura of Hato Petera, so those are two key objectives for me in the next three years that i think I am capable of getting out of the way in time for 2020," Dr O'Sullivan says.
By then he'll be in his late 40s and ready for the challenge.
