Maori All Blacks woo Singapore
The Maori All Blacks may not be able to play a game in Singapore, but they have made a splash with a three-day stopover in the island city-state.
An exhibition match against the Asia Pacific Dragons scheduled for Saturday at the National Stadium was cancelled because of the poor state of the pitch.
They still met some of their fans when the players ran a coaching session at Raffles Institute for more than 100 local junior rugby players.

Peter Van Zyl from hosts AIG, the team’s major global sponsor, says the visit will help the growth of rugby in Singapore.
