iMoko boosts reach with patient management

Digital health innovator iMOKO has teamed up with health software provider Intrahealth to expand its virtual health services to underserved communities across New Zealand.
iMOKO was created by Kaitaia GP Lance O'Sullivan to address the lack of access to healthcare by Māori and children in remote communities.
It has focused on using connections to early childhood centres, kōhanga reo and schools to treat common conditions such as skin or dental infections.
The addition of an Intrahealth patient management system enables iMOKO to increase the number of health conditions it can treat, and further integrate with health sector systems for more complete patient care.
