From December 31, 2026. NZ will ban the use of what people know as the “forever chemicals” or PFAS per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances which is used in nail polish, shaving cream, foundation, lipstick, and mascara and we are one of the first countries to do so following a ban in the US state of California in September 2022.
