Whānau of the Fist spokesperson Eugene Ryder says a sneeze travels up to 8 metres at up to 160kmph.
He says there is also concern about further spikes in Covid infection and re-infection, and whānau are also being hit by influenza.
A whānau pack has been developed for the E Mau I to Arai Kanohi – Mask Up campaign containing an instructional booklet, an adult male and a female cloth mask, and 5 multi-use, quality but disposable, branded, masks.
