The Local Government Commission has determined there will be two Māori seats in one ward on the Horowhenua District Council for October's election.
The Local Government Commission has determined there will be two Māori seats in one ward on the Horowhenua District Council for October’s election.
The council’s decision to introduce a Māori Ward triggered a representation review.
There will also be 10 councillors elected across four general wards.
The Foxton Community Board had a name change and will be known as Te Awahou Foxton Community Board.
