Atamira Dance Company has turned the internet to fund a new dance-theatre work for young Maori dancers.
The work by choreographer Kelly Nash, simply called Atamira, will look at what the name represents yesterday, today and tomorrow.
The company wants to raise $12,000 through a Boosted campaign to hire three emerging Maori dancers, Imogen Tapara, Rosie Tapsell and Manuel Solomon to work with Nash on the piece before its premiere in December.
