Singapore-based television executive Mike Rehu has been appointed head of content for Maori Television.
Mr Rehu was head of content production for Fox International Channels for seven years and was previously a senior producer and director for ESPN Star Sports.
The role of head of corporate affairs has gone to Rick Osborne, who formerly held the role with Fletcher Building and has also worked for Fonterra, Air New Zealand, Telecom and the Bank of New Zealand.
He’s also a former CEO for the Communication Agencies Association of New Zealand.
Chief Executive Paora Maxwell says the recruitment process has come up with the right people to achieve the channel’s strategic objectives as it moves to a new business model involving engaging with more New Zealanders on multiple platforms.
