Te Ahurea Tinorangatiratanga Festival 2023 was hosted by Te Kura Māori o Ngā Tapuwae last Friday and Saturday which was the first time the festival held a two day competion for the 29 Tāmaki schools.

Te Kura Māori o Ngā Tapuwae took out the competition, qualifying for the Kapa Haka Secondary School Nationals 2024. Ngā Puna o Waiorea taking second place and Te Kura Kaupapa Māori ā Rohe õ Māngere taking third place.
