Mt Albert Grammar tested for COVID

All students and staff at Mt Albert Grammar have been asked to get tested after a second student was confirmed as having COVID-19.
The student was infectious more than two weeks ago.
Seven new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported today.
There was one imported case – a woman in her 20s who arrived in New Zealand on August 22 from Turkey via London and Hong Kong.
The other six cases are linked to the Auckland community cluster, with five being household contacts of previously reported cases and one linked via their workplace.
The Health Ministry says by this morning its contact tracing team had identified 2455 close contacts of cases, of whom all but 50 have been contacted and are self-isolating.
Eight people associated with the Mt Roskill Evangelical Fellowship Church have tested positive for COVID-19, and three of the cases have been genomically linked to the Auckland community cluster, with the epidemiological link to the main cluster still under investigation.
Today there are 10 people in hospital with COVID-19, two in ICU.
