Clark ouster long overdue says cancer battler
A campaigner for increased supply of life-extending cancer drugs is welcoming the resignation of David Clark as Health Minister.
Dr Clark told Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern his presence in the role was creating an unhelpful distraction from the Government’s ongoing response to COVID-19 and wider health reforms.
Malcolm Mulholland says 14 months ago he stood on the steps of Parliament as a blubbering mess and said David Clark should resign for not allowing an inquiry into Pharmac to proceed.
He hopes a new minister will listen to what patients are screaming out for.
