Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa stories go digital

Kahukuraariki Trust is offering rangatahi of Ngāti Kahu ki Whangaroa a chance to learn how to deliver their stories in a digital format.
The trust has teamed up with Echo storytelling & Technology and Creative Northland to run a digital storytelling workshop in Taipa early next month.
It will be delivered by trust chair Ella Henry and Kiwa Digital founder Rhonda Kite.
They say it's an opportunity for rangatahi from 14 to 18 to develop their digital storytelling skills and publish an original story about their whānau, their life and their community.
They will learn to bring together text, animation, video and pictures.
The wānanga is on November 2 and 3 at Taipa Resort.
