The Māori Party is putting teams together for this Sunday's Round the Bays run in Auckland.
Tāmaki Makaurau electorate co-chair Tasha Hohaia says it's a reminder to the city the Māori Party is running for Parliament in 2020.
It's also part of a strategy to draw younger voters into the party, which currently is not represented in parliament.
"Not every young person wants to come along to a long hui so we have to make sure we are doing activities they are already going to be in. Hence why we are doing Round the Bays. Hence why we are doing a snapchat filter. We've even changed our hui structure so it's not a scary business," Ms Hohaia says.
There will be a walking, a jogging, and running teams to suit supporters of all ages and abilities.
