Time for Winston to step aside
Mana Movement leader Hone Harawira says New Zealand First leader Winston Peters might like to consider retiring from Parliament
Hone Harawira has come out in support of Maori Party co leader Te Ururoa Flavell's use of te reo in the House.
He says Winston Peters needs to catch up with the times.
Te Reo Maori reo in Parliament is here to stay.
"Me mihi atu ki a Te Ururoa hei whakarangatira ana to tatou reo and I will always support those who wish to speak te reo in the house. Winston just has to accept that the world is changing and if it's moving too fast for him then it may be time for him to step aside," says Hone Harawira.
