Huihuinga Wahine the Maori Women's Leadership Summit was held last week and heard that the national gender pay gap is 12%.
Traci Houpapa says iwi entities like Tainui are utilsing the skills of both wahine and tane with great success because that's the way te ao Maori works.
It's tikanga and kawa in action.
"And we're staying to see that come through and we see bottom line results.
