Maori living in Sydney have donated more than $10,000 for whanau hit by the Edgecumbe flood.
The money was raised at a fundraising concert last month headlined by singer Caii-Michelle Baker.
A cheque was handed over last week to Ruatoki School principal Hans Tiakiwai.
Caii-Michelle says the fundraiser was organised in just over three weeks, and involved expatriate groups such as Maori Rugby League.
