Small towns host small business roadshow
The government is putting on a roadshow for small business – but only in Kaitaia and Whakatane.
Small Business Minister Jacqui Dean says the Small Business Roadshow has been traveling around Aotearoa connecting small businesses with government services that could help them grow.
She says there are a lot of government services businesses can tap into but sometimes they’re hard to navigate. O
Maori Development Minister Te Ururoa Flavell says the Maori economy is thriving with Maori people and enterprises holding significant assets in primary industries like farming, forestry and fisheries.
He says the focus can't just be on large enterprises.
The roadshow is at Kaitaia on June 13 and Whakatane on June 14.
