Ngai Tahu exec added to tourism board

A representative of the country's largest Maori tourism business has joined the board of New Zealand Maori Tourism.
Verity Webber is the general manager commercial at Ngai Tahu Tourism, where she leads the finance team and is heavily involved in driving improved commercial value in the tourism portfolio.
She fills a place vacated by chair Amokura Panoho, who did not seek reselection when her term expired.
Glen Katu from Pa Harakeke and Tainui Waka Tourism was reappointed for another term at the board's quarterly meeting yesterday.
Chief executive Pania Tyson-Nathan says Ms Webber and Mr Katu bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the board.
