Get a grip says Peters of Tuhoronuku talks

Northland MP Winston Peters says the announcement of terms of negotiation with Ngapuhi settlement body Tuhoronuku are a sign of disorganisation.
The New Zealand First leader says Treaty Negotiations Minister Christopher Finlayson should have waited for the Waitangi Tribunal to issue its report about the mandating process in the north.
He says even if people are found to have been missed out, there will be no going back once a settlement is done.
"Otherwise you get like the Tuhoe settlement where iwi as recognised by someone as esteemed as Apirana Ngata were just left out, sidelined, and that's appalling behaviour and we're not going to let it happen up north, so we're saying to Mr Finlayson be sensible up here, get a grip of yourself and the system and be sure you get everyone on the same page before you start," he says.
Winston Peters says people can't be forced into settlements.
