Sealord in China collaboration

A coalition of New Zealand food and beverage companies including Maori ventures Sealord and Kono have a new base in China.
Economic Development Minister Steven Joyce this week opened Primary Collaboration New Zealand’s Shanghai office.
He says the office will boost the export ambitions of a number of New Zealand’s major primary sector brands.
He says by teaming up to provide a larger in-market presence, the companies will be able to cater to the growing demands of Chinese consumers looking for quality New Zealand products.
Other companies in PCNZ include Silver Fern Farms, Synlait Milk, Villa Maria Estate, and Pacific Pace.
Collectively they represent about $3 billion worth of New Zealand’s worldwide trade.
