Peters out to lift Northland status


Winston Peters says he’s glad to be making Northland the centre of the country’s attention.
The New Zealand First leader has been racking up the road miles as he tries to win the seat in Saturday’s by-election.
He says the country’s first capital was in the north.
Meanwhile Prime Minster John Key will spend the day in the election trying to pump up the chances of National’s candidate, Taipa bodybuilder Mike Osborne.
