Peters starts Force for the North tour

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters says his campaign for the Northland by-election is a campaign for all of provincial New Zealand.
Mr Peters has started his Force for the North bus tour, with stump meetings today at Wellsford and Kaiwaka and tomorrow in Hikurangi, Kawakawa, Kerikeri and Paihia.
He says if elected he will be in an even better position to challenge the government.
"We won't change the Government but we do want to change the way they think. You've got a two year economy, Christchurch or Auckand and then the second tier in the provinces. This is about the regions, a proper fair plan for the whole country. You've got a two tier economy and we are going to take Northland from the second division to the first division, that's our plan," Mr Peters says.
