Cliff Curtis to reveal Warriors’ childhood

It’s been a big year for Cliff Curtis, with his contributions on both sides of the camera on The Dark Horse winning international plaudits.
On Sunday the man known in Hollywood as an actor who can play any ethnicity explores his Maori side on a special edition of Marae on TV One.
In the documentary “I’ve been on a journey” he talks about the fatal car accident that plunged his childhood into a ‘Once Were Warriors’ world.
Reporter Carmen Parahi warns that the Marae special is no fluffy celebrity interview and some of the content is graphic and confronting.
