Reo ATM as credit union meets marae

Aotearoa Credit Union is launching the world’s first Maori language ATM.
It will be part of its new Te Kohao Branch, which is attached to Te Kohao Health on Hamilton’s Kirikiroa Marae.
Chief executive Anthony Wilson says the new partnership will offer co-branded AccessDebit cards and other financial products.
Te Kohao Health managing director Tureiti Moxon says her organisation is excited by the opportunity to provide financial services to more than 100 staff and 8000 clients throughout the Waikato region.
She says the new joint venture will make finance more accessible for events like tangihanga, as well as allowing people to get lower rates for personal loans.
