Former Maori Affairs Minister Tau Henare says he still doesn’t know whether he will plead guilty or defend a charge of breaching a name suppression order.
The retired MP tweeted the name of a prominent New Zealander who was given permanent name suppression after being convicted of indecent assault.
He entered no plea when he appeared in the Waitakere District Court yesterday, and was stood down for two weeks.
Outside the court, he said the law was an ass.
