Flavell angry at last cab status
Maori Party Te Ururoa Flavell says he’s sick of being the last cab off the rank for Labour.
Labour leader David Cunliffe says he’s willing to talk to Mr Flavell is he’s still in parliament after the election, but a Government he leads has room for only three parties – Labour, the Greens and New Zealand First.
Mr Flavell says he was shocked and angry at Mr Cunliffe.
"What this has done has put us back into the same old scenario of last cab off the rank Maori Party. I don't think we've done anything that has turned Labour off other the fact that we are able to get gains and the jealousy factor. I've said from the start we're willing to work with Labour under certain conditions just as much as we do with National," he says.
