The Federation of Maori Authorities and Business New Zealand are looking for the country’s most outstanding Maori woman business leader.
The new award, which is backed by Westpac, will be given at the Maori Business Awards in Napier next May.
It was announced at yesterday’s Maori Women’s Leadership Summit in Wellington, which drew a large group of wahine to listen to Maori women business and political leaders.
They also took part in workshops on professional development, investment and asset management, and Maori economic development.
