Colin Cooper to coach Māori All Blacks
Taranaki coach Colin Cooper got the nod as the new head coach of the Māori All Blacks.
The 54 year-old replaces Jamie Joseph.
His first task will be preparing the team for November's two internationals against Canada in Toronto and the United States in Philadelphia.
Cooper has had two spells at Taranaki, as well as being coach of the New Zealand Colts in 2001, the Hurricanes from 2003 to 2010, and co-coach of the Junior All Blacks from 2005 to 2009.
The former loose forward represented the Māori All Blacks in 1982 and 1983 before a neck injury ended his playing career.
