Peters trades jabs on age gap
Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters has hit back at Labour MP Willie Jackson’s claim he is showing his age.
Mr Jackson says Sunday’s state of the nation speech exhibited signs of confusion and impatience.
The New Zealand First leader says Mr Jackson is upset because Labour got beaten in the election.
“They has all these people in hotels in Rotorua and around the country to get them off the street – didn’t do anything for them, costing millions of dollars a day.
“Everything was a failure. Sorry about that WIllie, you deserve that, but frankly your party organisation is just hopeless,” Mr Peters says.
