Māori business urged to network for disaster help
The Māori businesses network is warning many Maori businesses don’t have the insurance cover to cope with flooding and other economic shocks.
Manahautū o Whāriki chief executive Trina Tamati up to two thirds don’t have enough insurance, and many don’t have plans in place to handle adverse events.
That’s where Whāriki maybe able to help.
