Puma mauling puts focus on All Black one to 15
Get out there and do your job.
That’s the word from veteran sportscaster Ken Laban after another historic loss to the All Blacks.
Argentina charged home for a 25-18 win in Christchurch on Saturday, their first test win on New Zealand soil.
The Pumas dominated the field, holding two-thirds of possessions and territory.
Mr Laban says responsibility for turning around the string of defeats must lie with the men on the field.
“They have to stand and fifth, They have to bring more intensity and more aggression to the contact zone. They are the only ones that can do this. (Coach) Ian Foster can’t do this, You and I can’t do this. We can talk and speculate which we love doing when it comes to our national game but in terms of being successful, that’s down to numbers one to 15 – get out there and do your job,” he says.
