Eagle keen to bring super power back to council table

Wellington mayoral candidate Paul Eagle says he’s sick of seeing the city going backwards.
The Rongotai MP is taking leave from parliament for three months to campaign, and he’ll resign if he’s elected.
He says most Wellingtonians say they don’t feel part of the solution being put on the table by the current mayor and his divided council.
“Nearly 90 percent of Wellingtonians are really upset with where their city’s heading, they’re upset with the city council and they certainly don’t feel part of the future and so it’s going to be a challenge to bring most of Wellington back into he fold, not to mention that the council itself has been dysfunctional if not divisive as well so they want someone who has a proven track record who can bring people back together,” he says.
Mr Eagle says he has super powers with relationships and people that can bring the city back together.
