Māori Party co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer says the Government delivered a “Yeah Nah” budget when a circuit-breaker was required.
She says a case in point is the lack of assistance for breast cancer screening and cancer drugs through Pharmac, despite a backlog of 50,000 mammograms.
“Yeah, Nah, it’s not been a winner and particularly in the areas taking our people out – poverty, homelessness and these revolting mauiuitanga – the cancers,” she says.
Debbie Ngarewa-Packer the Budget needed to put money in everyone’s pockets, including beneficiaries.
