Lottery funding has been made available for marae and other community organisation affected by last month’s Northland floods.
Internal Affairs Minister Tracey Martin says her department will work with councils, iwi, hapū and other stakeholders to determine how the $500,000 fund will be distributed.
The grant money is not available to individuals who have suffered personal loss or property damage.
