COVID-19 reporting added to Whanau Tahi apps
Health and social service providers which use Whānau Tahi software to manage their caseloads can now track COVID-19 status with a click of a button.
The company, which is a subsidiary of Te Whānau o Waipareira, says the solutions are available for immediate deployment to district health boards, general practitioners, pharmacists, community-based support workers, and whānau ora providers.
The COVID-19 Response tool gives providers a hot button on the Navigator interface to tag whether clients are self-isolating, and whether they are symptomatic or diagnosed.
Dashboards, views and mapping tools provide visibility on the number and location of whānau in the two categories and whether that have received hygiene and sanitation packs from North Island Whānau Ora providers.
All health and support workers engaging with whānau will automatically receive alerts of whānau status when accessing or updating appointments, case notes and other records.
Primary and secondary care clinicians and pharmacists using the Connected Care interface can see the status information from the community and Whānau Ora workers.
This would help clinicians assess proper COVID-19 treatment or advice to be shared with community workers for appropriate follow-up and care, in locations where that exchange of information is approved.
