Te Wai Māori Trust is looking for projects that promote and advance freshwater fisheries development, research and education.
This year the trust, which was set up under the Māori fisheries settlement, has $250,000 for grants from the Wai Ora Fund.
Each application must be for no more than $50,000.
Applications will close at June 5.
