OraTaiao: The New Zealand Climate and Health Council is encouraging people to have a say on the Zero Carbon Bill.
It’s put up an online guide to help people draft and file their submissions before next Thursday’s deadline.
Co-convenor Rhys Jones says while it’s called a carbon bill, it’s really about about health and fairness.
He says its important Māori have a say because of the implications for equity, Māori development and the Treaty of Waitangi.
