Te Waka Huia again outclassed the field at the Tāmaki Makaurau regional kapa haka finals.

In taking the first spot it showed how it can turn tough issues into art, tackling depression, suicide and racism in its haka.

Second was Ngā Tūmanako, followed by Te Manu Huia.

Te Taha Tū and Te Roopu Manutaki make up the five to represent the rohe at Te Matatini in Wellington next year.
