Tyson-Nathan picked for film board

New Zealand Maori Tourism Board chief executive Pania Tyson-Nathan has been appointed to the New Zealand Film Commission Board.
Arts, Culture and Heritage Minister Maggie Barry says Ms Tyson-Nathan has inside knowledge of the importance of tourism for Maori economic growth and a full understanding of the workings of local and central government.
Also appointed was former Weta Digital general manager Tom Greally, who chairs Booktrack, a technology company which creates synchronised soundtracks for audio and e-books.
