Nga Tapuwae kura expanding

Plans to redevelop Te Kura Maori o Nga Tapuwae in south Auckland just got bigger.
An extra $5.9 million has been put into the project, allowing the school to be relocated into a larger area of the Mangere site it shares with Southern Cross Campus, a year 1 to 13 school.
Education Minister Hekia Parata says it will take the total value of the project to over $21 million and allow for future roll growth.
The Southern Cross site also includes a trades academy, early childhood centres, a daycare and a special school satellite unit.
