Descendants first in line for Ruakura sections

Tainui Group Holdings is giving Waikato-Tainui members first dibs on 15 new residential property sections in Hamilton East.

The sections between Tramway Road and Wairere Drive at Ruakura are the first of 42 in the Rotokauri Development joint venture between the firm and Malcolm MacDonald and David Lugton.

Tama Potaka, TGH's general manager corporate services, says the sections are next to significant road connections and close to Ruakura, Waikato University and the Hamilton CBD.

The sections, which are between 400 and 440 square mteres, will be offered at current market prices of around $220,000.

Mr Potaka says if they all sell to registered members of Waikato-Tainui, another group of sections will be offered on the same terms.

The sales are being handled by real estate company Lugtons.
