Ron Mark run wrapped in silence

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters is staying tight lipped about a possible challenge for the deputy leadership by Ron Mark.
Mr Mark, who is back in parliament for a fifth term after being out from 2008 to 2014, is said to want the spot held by Tracey Martin, which means he would also be seen as Mr Peters’ eventual successor.
Mr Peters says what happened in yesterday’s caucus was confidential, as it has been for 22 years.
" We have been successful for a long time because we have kept things confidential. And the number of colleagues that don't do that, they don't last long because they really are so destructive of the party. You look at other party's and see whats going on, the leaks and what have you, it's a bad look and thats where things stand" he says.
