Peters rounding up missing voters

Meanwhile, Winston Peters is after the missing voters of Northland.
The New Zealand First leader says he’s picking up support from across the political spectrum, even from long-time National supporters.
He says there are about 6000 Maori voters on the Northland roll, and a similar number not on any roll who could vote in Saturday’s by-election if they sign up by Friday.
" There are probably 5000 who could get on the roll by 5pm Friday and they'd have a devastating effect on the elections. So we ask them to get on the roll and vote. We've got an enormous unity behind this campaign. It's as though party doesn't matter, what matters is the campaign, Send them a message " says Mr Peters
If new Maori voters enrol on the general roll for the by-election, they will be unable to change roll types until the next Maori Electoral Option. which is scheduled for 2018.
