Massey boosts Māori role

Massey University has appointed mental health expert, Te Kani Kingi, to a new role of director Māori aimed at providing academic and cultural leadership.
Dr Kingi has headed the university’s Academy for Māori Research and Scholarship, Te Mata ō te Tau, for the past six years.
Selwyn Katene, the Assistant Vice Chancellor (Māori and Pasifika), says he will focus on Māori development and building capacity the University’s ability to cater for Māori.
