Waipareira software powering whanau ora
Whanau ora providers around the country are starting to trial specialised client management software developed for the Waipareira Trust.
Whanau Tahi Deputy Chief Executive Stephen Keung says after more than a year of development within the West Auckland Urban Maori Authority, the Microsoft-based system is ready to be shared with others.
He says Waipareira wanted Whanau Tahi so its staff had the information and reporting capacity needed to make the new model of integrated service delivery work.
“We want to be able to track whanau as they grow and as they expand their own whanau so that in 25 years we can identify trends that will help and inform our rangatahi and our pepi in 20 years time,” Mr Keung says.
Whanau Tahi has teamed up with Med Tech Global, the country’s largest provider of systems for healthcare practices, to promote the software more widely.
