Chartered Fellowship tohu for Moxon
The Institute of Directors is to award Te Kohao Health managing director Tureiti Moxon a Chartered Fellowship to acknowledge her ongoing commitment to professional governance.
She will receive the tohu later this month alongside another prominent Waikato businesswoman, ASB and National Provident Fund director Catherine McDowell.
Ms Moxon is also a trustee of Ngati Pahauwera Development and Tiaki Trusts, Hauraki Primary Health Organisation and Te Runanga o Kirikiriroa.
She says it’s a great opportunity to encourage others to get involved and develop their governance skills.
Ms Moxon says treaty settlements, the needs of iwi development and the rapid growth of Maori business is creating demand for Maori directors or board members.
