ACT agents of chaos says Davis
Labour Party deputy leader Kelvin Davis says there will be mayhem if ACT is part of the next Government.
Mr Davis, who’s running to retain his Te Tai Tokerau seat, says ACT wants to do away with all the positive things the Labour Government has done for Māori.
It’s encouraging people to think Māori are coming for their land, their houses and their water.
He says it’s a full on attack on the Treaty of Waitangi.
“They say everything should be about kāwanatanga and the right to govern. There’s no mention in any of their policies about rangatiratanga. There’s no mention about equitable outcomes for Māori. They want to treat Māori just as any other stakeholder. If they are part of the next Government, there is going to be mayhem,” Mr Davis says.
He says there’s no point in getting angry after the fact, and Māori should get angry now and vote to keep those sorts of parties out of Government.
